USP professors appointed new members of the World Academy of Sciences

Among the ten new Brazilian members are Paulo Saldiva, Maria Aparecida Soares Ruas, and Ricardo Ivan Ferreira da Trindade, who will work to promote excellence in scientific and technological research, especially in developing countries, strengthening the global impact of science.
